Let’s take July out with a big LOSS!!! What?

That’s right! I lost this week!

So to recap, I had a .2 gain last week, which didn’t upset me, I totally earned it and thankfully was still mindful enough to not go too far off track.

But this week, I had some goals. Let’s see how I did on those goals.

Movement:

9,000 steps daily (yes, daily.) – AND DONE! I worked my butt off to get over 9,000 steps each day last week! Super proud of those steps:

Well I smashed that goal! Check out those steps!

At least one workout video or swim session daily (not just me stepping right before bed to get my numbers, an actual workout.) – AND DONE – So I did a thing.. I joined BeachBody On Demand for a two week free trial! I’ve been wanting to try some of the workouts for awhile and this goal made it seem like the perfect time! I started with 21 Day Fix Real Time, And I’ve even done a Yoga session with my daughter (I don’t do Yoga, it was my first time, and I really hated it, but I will continue to try it when it comes up on my daily workout.

I will probably go ahead and subscribe for the year for BeachBody, there are a lot of great programs I’d like to do. I am ONLY using BB for workouts, I am not using their nutrition, I’m still HAPPY with my iTrackBites app.

Water

Drink AT LEAST 3 of my 40 ounce hydro flasks full of water EVERY DAY. At least, could be more. Ok so the update on this one, is I did this five of the 7 days. I could improve on the weekends. BUT, I still managed to improved from what I was doing so YAY ME!

Food

Well, make better choices, that’s for sureI made better choices! I opted for more protein, less carbs for my lunches and dinner, and I even found I am loving a little JELLO at night with some whipped cream for a super LOW point dessert! I am unable to do sugar free Jello, so I have to go all in, and it’s only 2 points for half a cup! Awesome little treat and super refreshing for the summer!

Eat less red meat (I had a lot of hamburger, carne asada, and steak this last week.) 5/7 days I did either no meat or chicken or pork. Only two days I had beef. A win!

Track daily no matter what Yes yes and yes! I tracked no matter what, every morsel even if I went over on my points for the day, and I had 1 weekly remaining at the end of the week. I was completely honest.

Smoothies – at least three this week. I think I fell short on this one by one. I had two. Any I only had two because I think my yogurt was a bit questionable and kept forgetting to grab it at the store.

This weeks weigh in was exciting, a 2.2 pound LOSS!!!!

So my first week on Beach Body was a success, pushing myself to track properly, and get that movement and water in…WORKED!

So my stats so far:

  • Loss this week = -2.2
  • Loss since June 1st = -17.80
  • Total loss so far = 29.8 (almost down 30 lbs!!)

A successful week of work. I will continue my daily Beach Body workouts, I will push myself when I’m uncomfortable, I will track and make better food choices.
