Let’s take it back a few years, when my 1st born, wanted to be a YouTube star. She’s a teenager now and no longer enjoys being in front of the camera, but this will always go down as one of my most favorite videos.
I filmed these videos on my phone, in one take. I did no editing on the computer or phone in any form. If I needed to direct them, I would simply find a good spot to stop, pause, and hit record when they were ready.
The year is 2014, it’s the beginning of summer, and my kid is B-O-R-E-D. She was seven at the time. My son, her brother/costar, was three. She had somehow found a baker on YouTube who inspired her to do her own videos. The baker she found, was Rosanna Pansino. She loved watching Nerdy Nummies.
This video is a fun Fruit and Yogurt Smoothie, with items we had in the fridge, I wasn’t fully prepared to do this video, luckily, we had what we needed!
Pay special attention to the “oops” at 1:09 and the funny moment my son has at 1:35.
This one took a few minutes to recover from at the “oops” moment, we were all giggling so hard.
This was a fun time period, when the kids loved to be filmed and on camera. I would find fun things for them to make videos, and they had lots of great ideas themselves.
Hopefully you enjoyed this video and “recipe”!
