Oct Goals Take Back 2020

Happy October!

A new month, new goals, and new clean slate to work with!

These are my goals from September for my original Take Back 2020 post:

  • Lose 5 percent of my body weight by September 30th. This is approximately 13 pounds.
  • Lose 4 percent of my body weight by October 31st. This is approximately 10 pounds.
  • Lose 2 percent of my body weight by November 30th & December 31st. This is approximately 5 pounds and 5 pounds each month.
  • Change my “middle number” on the scale 2 times in September, and at least one additional time in Oct/Nov/Dec. With the goals above, this should actually happen 3 times, but I’m being conservative.
  • Officially change my step goal from 8,000 to 10,000. Eeeks.
  • Exercise 5 out of 7 days a week for a minimum of 1 hour. (Beachbody, Walk Video, Walk at the Park, Swim, whatever as long its an actually exercise.
  • Drink 120 ounces (or more) per day.

Now how will I change/update these?

  • Lose 5 percent of my body weight by September 30th. This is approximately 13 pounds. This didn’t happen, I lost NINE – still super happy about what I accomplished! This was approximately 3.5% of my body weight.
  • Lose 4 percent of my body weight by October 31st. This is approximately 10 pounds. Let’s change this! 5% didn’t happen, neither did 4%. Not saying it can’t but I want to be realistic. So I’m going with 3% in October which equates to approx 7 pounds.
  • Lose 2 percent of my body weight by November 30th & December 31st. This is approximately 5 pounds and 5 pounds each month. I think this is still fair, and 2 percent each month is safe!
  • Change my “middle number” on the scale 2 times in September, and at least one additional time in Oct/Nov/Dec. With the goals above, this should actually happen 3 times, but I’m being conservative. Alright this happened once in September, and my new goal is for 2 more changes in the next 3 months.
  • Officially change my step goal from 8,000 to 10,000. Eeeks. This is done and I am still working on 10,000 or more EACH DAY.
  • Exercise 5 out of 7 days a week for a minimum of 1 hour. (Beachbody, Walk Video, Walk at the Park, Swim, whatever as long its an actually exercise. This stays the same, I think this is realistic.
  • Drink 120 ounces (or more) per day. This needs to stay the same and I need to work harder!

So there we have it! NEW GOALS for October!!!
