Product Review – Bluetooth Sleep Mask/Headphones

Yep, you read that right, sleep mask/headphones.

I like to fall asleep to either music, a movie, an audio book, or hypnosis tracks. Or just Friends on the TV.

I had found some awesome headphones that are flat and go under your pillowcase. But these have cord (it’s a long cord) and sometimes they are too hard on my ear when I’m trying to fall asleep.

I saw a product similar to this on an audio book group I’m in on Facebook.

I thought, well that’s interesting!

I’m an amazon junkie, it wasn’t too much of an arm twist to get me to buy this, it was $20 which I didn’t think was too bad, again, I’m on a budget. There were much pricier options, but I always lean to the cheaper option.

I tried it for the first time last night. Here are the results:

The sound: was amazing, you put this on, and play some music, it’s great surround sound. I was pleased!

The mask: it is very dark and covers a lot of your face so there’s little to no light coming in through the mask.

It has buttons on the front, which I personally find a bit hilarious, since you can’t see it when it’s on your face, but I did use them to try them and they worked great pausing, going back or forward a track.

Bluetooth: My favorite part! No wires! My phone hooked up immediately and I was able to see the battery level of the headphones on my phone.

Softness: It is very soft and well padded. However, could be just me, I couldn’t sleep all night with it, I woke up at one point around midnight and had to pull it off, but I was able to go right back to sleep. It was a little uncomfortable on my side straight on my ear, but if I turned my face upwards, or if I was on my back, it was super comfy.

Battery: so far so good, at midnight after 3 solid hours of playing music, it went from 80% to 65%.

You can also push the mask off your eyes and use it kind of as a headband and the sound is still very clear and full. My kids made fun of me, but honestly, I may use it to work out without being connected to my phone via a cord and earbuds.

These could also be great for someone practicing meditation.

I personally am very happy with these headphones (this mask?). I would definitely recommend this product. It works just like it says it will.
